Charitable Giving

In the 12 months ending June 2023, the Hebron Lions doated $205,050 to Local and Lions Supported Charities.  Since the Hebron Lions were chartered in 1969, over $4.3 Million Dollars has been donated!  We are proud to have raised and donated that money all while being run by a completely volunteer membership base. 

While the Hebron Harvest Fair has been responsible for raising the Lions’ share of that money we donate, we were able to increase our giving by over $43,000 in 2023 to Children’s Charities all because of Hebron Lions Lights In Motion! We hope to increase the amount we can give each year as well.

There is nothing better than the excitement that the Christmas Season brings to a child and for that reason, the Hebron Lions have earmarked that the proceeds from Lights In Motion will all be donated to Children’s Charities that focus on quality/enjoyment of life.

One of those Children’s Charities we are extremely proud to work with and support is Wishes On Wheels.  Wishes on Wheels is a fantastic organization that not only raises money for the Make a Wish® Connecticut, but also does it while producing a Truck Convoy Event that the kids absolutely love. Wishes on Wheels has been a great partner in volunteering in many capacities and we couldn’t be happier to help them help the fantastic mission of the Make a Wish Foundation.
